STEP 1 – RELATIONSHIP

We believe, that God is creative, authoritative and relational. We believe before time God was complete in all of these areas by himself in the Trinity. We believe that out of his abundance He has created everything and everything that is connected to him has life, light and love. Sin is choosing to be absent from God and when we are absent from God we are disconnected from life, light, and love. Creation, authority and relationships become corrupt outside connection with him and we are left with death, darkness, and hate. We believe it is God’s plan to reconnect us to himself. When we are reconnected, he can restore creation, authority, and relationships. (Us with him, and us with each other) When Jesus came to earth, he brought his life, light, and love to death, darkness, and hate. Which was confirmed by His death and resurrection. Once again transforming our world into a place that God can be present. And it is now our choice whether to be connected to him or not. Once we make that decision we start the journey of being restored by him to the person we were always meant to be, someone full of life, love, and light that we can share with the world.

Are you on this journey?

STEP 3 – WHO WE ARE

As a church we believe most importantly we need to grow closer to God and love people better. How we uniquely focus on that is through supporting racial reconciliationdeveloping a worship cultureand celebrating and restoring the family unit.

Here are the characteristics and we try to embody as the church.

1. Excitement – we are excited about what we get to do and who we get to do it with
2. Appreciation – we are thankful for those we serve and those who serve us.
3. Atmosphere – We create culture and spaces that compel people to engage.
4. Purposed to Serve – We know that our God given purpose is discovered in serving others.
5. Clear expectations – clear, honest communication is the foundation of all healthy relationships.

Intro

At Freedom Life we believe the two most important things we do as people, is to grow closer to God and love people better. This is not a destination but the journey. We celebrate progression in these ideals over moral and cultural behavior.

During connect – Learn, you will discover who we are as a church, the biblical principles that we embody, and how we can serve you in becoming the person God created you to be, fulfilling the purpose that He has for you.

STEP 2 – OUR STORY

In 2014, Pastor Ken and Patrice Cox started meeting with a few people in their home who weren’t connected to a church at the time. As they continued to love on people and serve them, more and more people started to attend their home on a Sunday morning. They sang songs and shared about God’s goodness in their living room. Over the last six years attendance has continued to grow. Freedom Life has met in a myriad of locations over the last six years. In 2020 we were excited to move in to our first permanent facility, with the vision to serve more than just a living room of people but the whole Bluffton area.

STEP 4 – WHO YOU ARE

We would like to take some time to hear from you about your passions and elements that may lineup with who we are as a church.

Also there is a little bit of homework, there is a personality, and spiritual gift test we would like you to take and bring to the next meeting.
